Brand strategy and identity design for the weird, wonderful businesses with a lot of heart.

I'm the founder of KyoLou Studio, and I've spent the better part of a decade thinking about what makes a brand feel genuinely alive.

My foundation is in Communication Design, and over seven-plus years as a senior graphic designer I worked across fast-paced marketing agencies and in-house teams, on everything from global packaging to founder-led brand identities. Brands ranging from household names to scrappy startups, and the bar was always the same: every touchpoint had to earn its place.

I went independent in 2025, and now I bring everything I learned directly to the founders who need it most. Not diluted through layers of account management. Just the thinking, the craft, and the work, all of it made by a human hand.

Before anything is designed, I work out what's genuinely true about your business. Your purpose, your positioning, your story, and what makes you worth choosing. The visuals come from that. Which is why the brands I build tend to feel right, not just look good.

A green, starburst-shaped badge with the text 'Building brands with a heart' and a small decorative star below.

I work with:

  • Food, beverage and hospitality

  • Wellness and lifestyle

  • Creative studios and makers

  • Technology with a human side

  • Children's brands and experiences

  • Founders ready to build something that lasts

Text on a light blue background that reads "Built to Be Chosen" with a heart symbol at the end.

Outside the studio…

When I'm not designing, I'm usually somewhere outside. Hiking up a mountain to see the world from a new angle, walking dogs, or taking the long route home just to think. I cook proper meals for people I love. I bake things that don't always turn out perfectly but always disappear quickly.
