PROBLEM
Willohbee wasn't just due for a refresh. The brand had fallen behind in a way that a surface-level update couldn't fix. The visual presence felt flat and uninspiring, limiting creative expression and failing to reflect the depth of what the business truly offered. There was no consistency across touchpoints: socials, packaging, and marketing all felt disconnected.

Beyond the visual gaps, the brand was missing an emotional connection with a broader audience beyond children. In a growing, competitive craft space, it lacked the distinctiveness to stand out, and the founder was struggling to use existing brand assets in creative, on-brand ways when building templates and content. Most critically, the brand was tethering the business to 'just' creative products, when the real vision was to grow into creative experiences: workshops, events, and a future community space.

SOLUTION
Before a single design decision was made, we started with strategy. Who is this really for? What's the story? What makes it different, and where is it going? That thinking shaped everything that followed. What came out the other side wasn't just an updated logo. It was a cohesive, complete visual identity with personality, purpose, and room to grow. The brand was repositioned around a vibrant, whimsical and creative spirit that resonates with both children and adults, building a stronger first impression with greater credibility and memorability.

A flexible visual system was built to work consistently across products, packaging, and marketing, and to empower the client with clear brand guidelines and expressive, on-brand assets they could actually use. The result communicates value well beyond the product, opening the door to workshops, events, and every creative experience Willohbee has planned next.
